Wenger's crocked stars

From CHARLIE WYETT in Porto

ARSENAL will be without FIVE regular players for tonight's showdown in Porto.
Veteran Sol Campbell, 35, will replace William Gallas while Manuel Almunia, Alex Song, Andrey Arshavin and Eduardo have also been ruled out of the Champions League clash.

Arsene Wenger said: "Ideally you would always like them all to play. But you have to focus on those who are able to play.

"The question is whether we can have a good result with those players and I believe the answer is yes.

"We have to show that we can deal with these problems.

"I believe we have the players who can come in and do well. They have the experience as they have played in Champions League games, so we cannot complain.

"That is part of a successful team, going into big games without your whole squad. These are tests you have to pass."

But midfielder Samir Nasri fears Arsenal still lack the experience to challenge for honours.

The French star said: "This season we've had bad results in big games. We lack experience at the highest level.

"Teams like United and Chelsea have more experience and can deal with these games."
